RECAP OF COFFEE WITH THE PASTOR – Wednesday, February 9, 2022

We are almost halfway through February and looking forward to Spring.  What we are planning to do here about the masks is continuing to require them through February but to go back to suggesting them in March.  In addition to that we will be reopening Café Joy for sure by the beginning of March. If this changes we will let you know.

Pastor Dave wants to remind all of us that worship services are at 10:00 AM each Sunday morning.  If you are unable to join us in person, the virtual worship times and locations are sent out via Email each Friday with the Order of Worship for those who wish to join us remotely.  We are in the planning stages of offering our Worship Service live each Sunday on some media format, however, this has not yet been determined.

On the 2nd Sunday of March, Pastor Dave will conduct a forum at 9:00 AM in the lounge.  Café Joy will be going at that time so bring along a cup of coffee or refreshment with you as you join us for forum discussions on the status and nature of the UMC. All opinions are welcome without judgement or trying to convince one another.

Lent will begin on Ash Wednesday on March 2nd.  The service will be available remotely for you this year on all of our media formats.  Even when we are all back together once again we will still offer the multimedia remote worship for your convenience.

Pastor Dave will have more to say about about forums and the plans for this year.  Until until next time, may God richly bless you and know that God loves you and cares deeply about you.  Pastor Dave hopes you are listening to his series on prayer.

Pastor Dave wishes you God’s blessings.
