Church news is still relatively the same. Our worship services and studies are still virtual. The vaccination process has begun but it will be a while before it makes its way through our local population. We are currently in a very explosive time politically. Pastor Dave does not wish to offer an opinion about the events of last week other than he is very disappointed. Is revenge of those at fault really what matters most right now? He reminds us to pray to God to bring healing and an end to this before things go too far. Human beings are capable of many atrocities. Pray for an end to these hateful things and that people will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. If you put your faith and trust in humanity apart from your trust in God you will always be greatly disappointed. Whatever your political view it is your choice and right as an American citizen as long as you don’t infringe on or damage other people. As Christians, our true citizenship belongs with the kingdom of God and our accountability and loyalty are are directed and affected by One who we know through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. This accountability supersedes everything else that this world holds over us.

If your goal is to turn the Church into a place to win others for political gain, Pastor Dave will not support or speak of these actions. He stands for God and the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ which will always be the main focus of his conversations over of political rhetoric. He reminds us to pick up our bibles and learn how people have experienced and responded to God for centuries and centuries. How will you respond to God? Pastor Dave will always support and assist those in their journey to follow God and learning His word. Keep praying as the answers will be found in Jesus Christ. Stay faithful, Blessings.
